Periodically all instruments should be completely
cleaned using a rust and stain‑remover. A soft bristle
tooth brush may be necessary to treat heavy rusting
           or staining.

A 25‑30 minutes soak is usually all that is necessary
for most instruments. A sterile distilled water rinse
and lubrication completes the process. All instruments
should undergo this process at least every other week.
